Last updated: October 2, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before using moosemill.com (the "Website"), operated by Moose Mill Woodcraft ("we," "us"). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Website.

Using the Website

  1. Eligibility. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order or request a quote.
  2. Accounts. The Website doesn't require an account. You can browse without giving us any personal information.
  3. Acceptable use. Use the Website only for lawful purposes. You may not:
    • disable, damage or impair the Website, or interfere with anyone else's use of it;
    • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or any connected systems;
    • use automated means to scrape or systematically collect data from the Website;
    • transmit viruses or other malicious code.

Products, quotes and custom work

Product photos are representative. Because every piece is handmade from natural wood, colour, grain and small details will vary. Custom work is confirmed by a written quote; a 50% deposit is required before work begins, and the balance is due before delivery. See our Shipping and Returns policies for more.

Intellectual property

The Website and its original content (including text, photos, videos, designs and plans) belong to Moose Mill Woodcraft and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Plans we sell or give away are for personal, non-commercial use unless we say otherwise.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Website is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties about its availability, accuracy or suitability for any purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moose Mill Woodcraft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website.

Woodworking is inherently risky. If you follow our videos, articles or plans, you do so at your own risk. Always follow your tools' manufacturer instructions and use appropriate safety equipment.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moose Mill Woodcraft from any claims, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Website or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Website at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted here. Continuing to use the Website means you accept the updated Terms.
